Carolyn Harris Zukowski is a Vice President at Danari Global. She has extensive experience as an editor and writer at leading institutions including Moody’s Analytics, AGNI at Boston University, and the Harvard Radcliffe Office of Public Information. She is the author of two travel books published by Thomas Cook, Ltd., establishing her as an authority in the genre.
As the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Literary Bohemian, an online magazine launched in 2008, Carolyn’s editorial vision garnered recognition from prestigious publications such as Poets & Writers (USA) and Canongate Books (UK). Works published in The Literary Bohemian were featured in Best of the Net, This American Life, and The Poetry Foundation, serving as a testament to the quality of content she curated.
Carolyn’s multifaceted career also encompasses over two decades as the Founder of Krumlov House & WriteAway in Český Krumlov, Czech Republic, where she seamlessly blended her passions for literature and travel by transforming a 400-year-old heritage bakery into an internationally recognized, award-winning specialty hostel. As a sought-after venue for educational retreats, literary gatherings, and writing residencies, Krumlov House hosted esteemed institutions such as Charles University, Elon University, and North Carolina State University.
Carolyn holds a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from Wheaton College, Massachusetts, and an MA and MFA in Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University in the U.K. where she earned the Michael Schmidt Prize for Best Manuscript.
