Chris is Head of Culture and Entertainment at Danari Global. He is also the co-founder of S&C Productions, an events company and media platform that owns two of the UK’s fastest-growing festivals: Strawberries & Creem and the Cambridge Club. The Guardian has named Strawberries & Creem as “one of the most vital festivals we have,” as a brand embedded in culture which has helped to nurture some of the biggest stars in UK music today.
In 2020, Chris sold part of his business to Sony Music, becoming the first European festival under the conglomerate’s extensive portfolio. S&C has also booked some of the world’s biggest artists, from Diana Ross and Lionel Richie, to Burna Boy, to Skepta and Central Cee.
Chris has delivered eye-catching festival partnerships (both digital and on-site activations) with the likes of Visit The USA, Nike, TikTok, HUGO BOSS, and Doritos. He also spearheaded an industry-leading ‘Safe Spaces Now’ pledge and campaign, alongside UN Women UK — aiming to tackle sexual harassment across music and events, with signatories such as Emily Eavis (Glastonbury), Ellie Goulding and Anne-Marie, and support from a multitude of other events businesses.
Chris studied at Cambridge University and has a Master of Arts in Land Economy.
